My love of design began as a little girl, when I would pour over Better Homes & Gardens, creating scrapbooks filled with beautiful rooms, flowers, and everything I found inspiring. As I grew into adulthood, I realized that my lifelong love of creating beautiful spaces could become a career. I began by designing custom draperies featuring Waverly fabrics, which eventually grew into a successful remodeling company in New Bern. For years, I had the privilege of transforming dated and impractical homes and kitchens into spaces that were beautiful, functional, and designed for the way my clients lived. After several years living near family in Tennessee, I returned to my beloved North Carolina in 2026—and Blue Heron Home Interiors was born.

My approach is practical, personal, and collaborative. I want to understand how you live, what you love, what isn't working, and what you want your home to feel like. Then we'll create a plan that makes sense for your home, your lifestyle, and your budget.
Whether we're refreshing a single room, rethinking a kitchen, tackling a larger remodeling project, decorating for the holidays, or simply figuring out where to begin, my goal is always the same:
